I am a bilingual (Mandarin/English) psychotherapist committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of cultural identity, family dynamics, and personal growth. As an Asian woman therapist, I understand the emotional weight of balancing cultural expectations with personal needs, often leading to feelings of guilt, shame, or self-doubt. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply attuned to client's lived experience, creating a safe space where they can explore emotions with compassion and curiosity. Grounded in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help clients connect with their core selves, heal emotional wounds, and cultivate greater self-compassion.
With extensive experience in school-based mental health, intensive outpatient programs, and trauma-informed care, I specialize in working with children, teens, international students, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and their families. My work focuses on addressing generational gaps, perfectionism, childhood trauma, and family communication challenges. I believe that fostering emotional resilience and empowerment is like tending to a garden—when nurtured with care, patience, and compassion, it will bloom in its own time, bearing the fruits of healing, strength, and self-discovery.
