Intergenerational Trauma and Mental Health Among Asian Americans
Study Overview
The Pond Practice, in collaboration with the CUNY School of Medicine, is conducting a research study examining intergenerational trauma and mental health–seeking behaviors among Asian American adults. This study aims to better understand how lived experiences across generations influence engagement with mental health care.
Participation involves completing an anonymous questionnaire and a confidential online interview.

Participant Compensation
Eligible participants who complete the study will receive a $50 Amazon gift card as compensation for their time.
Participation Eligibility
Individuals may be eligible to participate if they meet all of the following criteria:

• Identify as Chinese American or Korean American

• Are 18 years of age or older
-
• Are foreign-born (1st or 1.5 generation)

• Have received mental health treatment within the past three years
How to Participate
If you are interested in participating, please complete our ONLINE SCREENING and you will be notified if you are selected.
Confidentiality
All responses will be kept confidential. Participation is voluntary, and all data collected will be de-identified to protect participant privacy.
