Morgan Bandy

BA (expected 2026)
College Intern

I am currently pursuing my studies at Hunter College, driven by a growing commitment to community care and social justice. Soon, I will begin the two-year program at the Silberman School of Social Work, where I aim to deepen my practice and build a purposeful path rooted in empathy, advocacy, and a steadfast dedication to showing up for others.

Through my volunteer work with New York Cares, I engage with older adults—dancing, strolling, and honoring the stories they have carried throughout their lives. I also support young students in English and language arts, helping them discover confidence in self-expression. These experiences have shaped my understanding of dignity, joy, and healing, and inspire my commitment to creating spaces where all individuals—whether elders, youth, or anyone navigating life's complexities—can find respect and support.

As I move toward Silberman, I am dedicated to carrying forward these values, continually fostering environments where meaningful connection and growth are possible.
